What a fabulous day! It began around noon with a hike from the Hang Glider Port in La Jolla down the cliff trail to the beach below. No pictures of the beach or surf. I was too busy body surfing, walking on the beach and visiting with the wonderful group of beach and ocean lovers. These people have been going to this same beach for more than 30 years. They have seen most their kids grow into adulthood and a new generation of children starting their lives happily spending time at the ocean.
After a day playing in the water and rousing vollyball games on the beach, everyone hikes back to the top for a pot luck and BBQ. With a campfire after Sunset.

| Someone had a huge box of glow necklaces and handed them out to everyone. The campfire was lit and we watched 4 different fireworks shows up and down the coastline. Perfect! |
